Recycling Makes Life Better

   My name is Lucille. I'm in Class 18 Grade 10. My favorite quote is “You have to believe yourself, that is the secret of success.”  

   Why do we have recycling bins?

   Recycling bins are made to contain paper and plastic before they are sent to the recycling plant, which is a place that machines mash up the old paper and plastic and turn them into new bottles, papers, etc.

   After you walk on the streets of China, you will know my point of this speech. There is garbage everywhere. China does have recycling bins. Some of the recycling bins are blue, and some of them have the recycling symbol on it, but there isn’t garbage in it.

   As foreigners see those situations, they think Chinese don’t appreciate the environment. In my opinion, China needs a law to abandon throwing littering everywhere at least. Then, make a law to encourage recycling. That can help the environment to be greener and could be the solution to pollution. 

   Nowadays, a lot of people do DIY to save money, but that does not really make sense. Some people do it because they like art, while some of them do it to recycle some stuff to memorize their past. There are a lot of videos teaching you how to do DIY. You can make the stuff according to the teaching video and share your work to your friends or online. DIY is very useful. You can do whatever you want, which can stimulate your creative potential.

   In conclusion, if we can recycle the garbage and reuse it that can help a lot for improving the environment.
