纪念一二·九运动---“血铸中华 责任承担 青春梦想”之二 ------一二·九主题演讲及历史短剧表演侧记

今天是12月9日，八十年前的今天，日本帝国主义铁蹄踏遍华北，中华大地遍体鳞伤，广大青年学生痛彻心扉。失地丧权，华北危急，民族危机空前严重！就在这亡国灭种大祸将至时刻，一二·九运动爆发了。北平等地广大青年学生组织抗日救国示威游行，掀起全国抗日救亡运动新高潮，全国各地纷纷响应。到处是挂满的标语，到处是飘舞的纸单；黄河长江为之怒吼，中华大地为之震颤。一个惨遭蹂躏的民族在觉醒，一个多灾多难的民族在抗争。这是继五四运动之后，中国人民尤其是青年学生爱国热情的再次大爆发。
今天间操时间在万庆广场，我们开展了一二·九主题演讲及历史短剧表演，枫叶戏剧社的同学通过他们的表演带领我们重望了那段抗争的岁月；第八届周班同学充满激情的演讲激励着全体枫叶师生勿记历史、珍惜和平。我们更在合唱国歌声中为这次主题活动划下了圆满的句号！
在今天这个特殊的日子里，中方教务历史组还想向全体老师发出如下倡议：
一、了解并牢记这段历史。
二、向您的朋友家人尤其是孩子讲述这段历史。
三、教师尽可能鼓励学生关注这段历史。
我们相信，每个人心中都有一颗爱国的火种，只要国家需要，时代需要，我们可以随时将它点燃——燃起熊熊烈火，因为一二·九爱国精神薪火相传——永不灭！

In December 1935, the Japanese Imperial Force invaded into Northern China. Masses of young students felt heart-wrenching for the lost territory and humiliating treaty, and China faced an unprecedented national crisis. At the very moment, the December 9th Movement to Resist Japan and Save the Nation broke out. Young students from Beiping (now Beijing) and other places called for a voluntary mobilization of all Chinese people to resist Japanese aggression, and the protest movement was supported by students and the masses all over the country. The response was very positive as similar petitions and assemblies were organized in many large cities full of slogans and leaflets. The downtrodden nation was awakening; the miserable peoples were struggling: Arise, we who refuse to be slaves! With our very flesh and blood, let’s build our new Great Wall! The peoples of China are at their most critical time, everybody must roar defiance. Arise! Arise! Arise!

那八十年前的一幕
就像昨天一样历历在目
What happened 80 years ago. Is still shocking in people’s mind
一个灾难深重的国度
一个危在旦夕的民族
在血雨腥风中呻吟，
在内忧外患中挣扎
An endangered country. A fragile nation. She was struggling on the edge of breaking down
而水深火热的形容显得那么苍白，软弱
瓜分豆剖的煎熬显得
那样简短，轻柔
北平，终于爆发了
When the situation became more and more dangerous, people were walking to the deeper trouble step by step. Finally! There came the break out of the city of Peaking
积压内心的呼喊反对华北自治
反对内战，一致对外
A roar of sallow “No self-governing in south China!” “No Civil war! Stand up and go fight with invaders!”
原本应该冲锋陷阵，保疆卫国的战士
却在勇猛地残杀自己的兄弟姊妹
原本应该向敌人瞄准射击的枪炮
却在肆无忌端地吞噬自己的父老乡亲
The soldiers who were originally supposed to fight in the war against the invaders were aiming at their bothers.
为了驱逐日寇为了保卫我们神圣的国土
为了捍卫华夏母亲不屈的尊严
To get ride of the Japanese invaders
To protect our holy motherland
To guard the nation’s great dignity
在中国，只要有硝烟，就有勇土
在中国，只要有危难，就有脊梁
在中国，只要有青年，就有希冀
If there are wars in China, we will have warriors.
If there are difficulties in China, we will have solutions.
If there are youth in China, We will have hope!

After recalling this exciting movement we still need to think further into the future and work hard towards a better life.
