Make My Own Mini Garden

After one entire week’s waiting, here finally came the World Geography Club. In today’s class, we learnt about the countries in South America. We focused on the Amazon Rainforest and spoke about the different animals and insects that live thereFirst, we watched a short documentary about it. After the video the teachers showed the “mini rainforest”. And then, each of us had a box and filled the bottom with sand. We were encouraged to walk around the school to look for plants, flowers and sticks to make a mini garden. At last, we put in some insects to make our gardens come to life.
The most interesting part about this class was that we were free to looking for any elements to decorate our own gardens. For girls, their gardens were filled with beautiful flowers. For boys, they were crazy about all kinds of insects.
At the end of the class, we asked the teacher Sheetal “What are we going to learn next week?”See, we can’t wait for the next World Geography Club.

经历一周漫长的等待，终于再次迎来周五的世界地理课。今天我们学习了南美洲国家，我们重点学习了亚马逊热带雨林和那里的各种动物和昆虫。首先，我们看了一个的纪录片。然后，老师给我们展示了一个迷你热带雨林。接下里，我们每个人都拿到了一个铺满沙土的盒子，我们可以在校园里寻找我们需要的植物，花朵和小木棍来做自己的迷你公园。最后,我们放入一些小昆虫让我们的公园充满生机。
这堂课最有趣的地方是我们可以按自己的意愿来寻找任何装饰我们公园的素材。女生的花园装满了美丽的花朵，男生则对昆虫疯狂的喜爱。
这堂课快结束的时候，我们问Sheetal老师“下节课我们会学什么？”看，我们已经迫不及待的想上下一次课啦！
