The Expert of BW Teaching Group Tell You How to Teach Good English Effectively

Good English is one of our English teaching materials; we have used it for almost two years. It’s a good textbook to cultivate students’ reading ability and creativity.In order to teach it more effectively, we invited BW Teaching Group Miss Zhai to come to our school to guide us.

Miss Zhai explained how to make good use of this book according to Aaron’s demo class. She also showed us a lot of teaching cases that let us know the teaching process and teaching goals clearly. Miss Zhai said we should have different requirements for higher grade students and lower grade students. We benefited a lot from her lecture.

After lecture, teachers were free to ask questions about how to teach Good English, and Miss Zhai explained one by one. Thanks to Miss Zhai’s guidance; I believe that we can do it better in the future’s teaching.

典范英语是枫叶小学重要的英语教材之一，它通过有趣的图片，生动的故事情节，来培养学生的阅读习惯和想象力，提升学生的阅读能力和词汇量。为了让我们的课堂更高效，抓住故事教学的特点，我校有幸请来了北外课题组的专家翟霞老师为我们做指导。

首先翟老师结合我校Aaron老师的一节典范英语示范课，系统地给我们讲解了如何利用好这套教材，并且给我们展示很多教学案例，让我们清楚了典范英语教学的教学流程和教学目标。同时翟老师也对高低年段的学生分别做了细致的讲解，使我们获益匪浅。的确，要想把典范英语上好，不是一件容易的事。老师们要对故事非常熟悉，并对故事进行加工，绘声绘色的讲出来，担当故事大王的角色、表演者，也要充分利用丰富的资源，让学生学到原滋原味的纯正英语。

讲座后还有现场提问的环节，老师们都将自己上典范英语中遇到的困惑向翟老师请教，翟老师都一一为我们解除了困惑。感谢翟老师的指导，相信我们会在以后的典范英语教学中有更多的提升，让学生获益！
