文化自信构建国际精英人才的远大理想

2018 年1月8日上午，阳光明媚。升旗仪式上武汉枫叶国际学校第十届周恩来班同学给全校师生带来了自己的原创诗歌朗诵《文化自信构建国际精英人才的远大理想》，代表全体同学表达了对祖国优秀文化的自豪与传承。枫叶莘莘学子肩负祖国希望，传承中华优秀文化，面向世界创造未来，播撒智慧与光明。

1月8日正值敬爱的周恩来总理逝世42周年纪念日，周总理把一生全部的精力献给了国家和人民，鞠躬尽瘁死而后已。他的故事和精神经历时间洗礼仍为国人传承，成为照耀大家不断前行的指路明灯。武汉枫叶全体师生表达了对伟人的深切缅怀，并发出了“共同传递文化自信，传承伟人精神”的倡议。

对于一个国家，文化是软实力，是决定一切的内在驱动力，文化作为社会意识形态，是一个民族思想精神和社会的根基。中国是四大文明古国之一，中华民族拥有着悠久的历史和灿烂的文化，作为国际学校的学生，学好中、英等语言，掌握中西思维并传承中华文化是我们的历史责任与时代赋予的重任。 （附：演讲中英文）

文化自信构建国际精英人才的远大理想

To be an Elite, We Ought to possess confidence to our Traditional Culture

李：In 5000-year history, Chinese culture is polished during every transition of the society. It morphed between the collision of cultures and sublimed with the sedimentation of time.

欧：纵观古今，中原文化历经社会的变迁，在文化的碰撞中蜕变，在时光的积淀中升华。

陈：It contains the universe, includes the continents. It combines the essences of multiple concepts, flourishes through the stream of the time.

朱：它包容万物、海纳百川，融汇贯通多元思想精髓，历经万世而不衰。

李：Traditional Chinese philosophy and ideology are the essences of our culture, which reveal the mysteries of the nature, and the rules of human society.

欧：中华的儒道哲学连系人类社会；唯物唯心思想道破自然法则。

陈：China’s charm is shown in its beauty of poetry and martial art, and its studies of social and natural science. Chinese culture plays an essential and irreplaceable role in the world.

朱：中国的诗词歌赋、传统武术、人文艺术、自然科学散发出辉煌的魅力，在世界文明中占据举足轻重的位置，无与伦比，无可替代。

李：We are Chinese people. Our culture is dissolved into our blood, and grants us power to stand and walk.

欧：富有深厚底蕴的中国文化渗透民族的血液，构建民族之脊骨。

陈：We are proud to be a part of our nation. Because it forged our souls and inspired our lives.

朱：作为这伟大民族的一员，我们发自内心的对此感到自豪。因为它铸造我们的灵魂，贯穿我们的生命。

李：Every time we speak our language, our hearts are inspired: Chinese language inherits the will of nature and reflect the unique concept of Chinese: collectivism

欧：每当运用语言文字，便会想起：汉字继承自然之意志，形矫若惊龙，势气贯长虹，这种文字形态表现出中国人纵观大局的思想方式。

陈：Every time we admire our poems, our moods are filled with pride: Chinese literature is abstruse but spectacular. The beauty of language reflects the beauty of culture.

朱：每当吟诵诗词歌赋，便会心生豪情：中原文学博大精深，辉煌的艺术乃是璀璨文明的表现。

李：Every time we explore the nature, our minds are moved: Our ancestors had got such a deep understanding to the world. Our ancient scientists endeavored in exploring the origin of the universe.

欧：每当探索自然，便会感慨：古代智慧的中国人民竟对世界有着如此入木三分的了解。充斥玄秘和奥妙的天文学、炼金术等文化在冥冥之中接触万物的本源。

陈：Chinese traditions require us to think at a panoramic view.

朱：中华传统思想要求我们透过宏观推测自然的意志，通过全局窥视世界的运转。

李：We are requested to be able to have a view beyond the present and above the world. We care about the welfare of all beings, and we plan for the benefits of mankind.

欧：目光长远，心怀天下。不仅仅关注个体的安危，而是心系众生的幸福，为全体人类的利益做出谋划。感伤天地，通达事理。

陈：We shall disseminate our beautiful culture, inherit its advanced concepts. Our culture bestows us confidence and tenacity, so that we can define our goals and chase our dreams

朱：我们应弘扬祖国优秀的文化，传承先进的思想。胸有中华文明寄托的雄心明确志向，心怀华夏文化赋予的气魄追逐梦想。

李：Our thriving culture supports firmly behind us, so that we can freely wander around the world.

欧：昌盛的祖国文化筑起我们坚实的后盾，使我们坚守信念，从而无所顾忌的闯荡天涯，畅游天际。

陈：We shall absorb and combine the essence of Chinese and Western culture, in order to infuse vitality to the world.

朱：我们将融合中西思想精华，为人类文明注入蓬勃的生命力。

合：We shall be the ones who lead mankind beyond. We shall disseminate wisdom and brightness upon the world.

合：我等莘莘学子，肩负着人类的希望，传承文化，创造未来，播撒智慧与光明。

李：Today is the 42^nd year after the decease of Prime Minister Zhou, a hero of China.

欧：1月8日，是周总理逝世42周年，今天，让我们共同缅怀这位世纪伟人！

陈：He dedicated for the welfare of Chinese people till the end of his life.

朱：他把一生全部的精力献给了党和人民，直到他生命最后一息。

李：Zhou Enlai is a person who should never be forgotten. His stories and spirits are a beacon leading us forward.

欧：周恩来，一个已经成为不朽象征的名字，他的故事和精神在100多年的历史长河中，经过世世代代的传承，越发感动我们的心灵，成为照耀我们不断前行征程的指路明灯

陈：He asked us to study for the rise of China.

朱：他说：为中华之崛起而读书

李：He hoped us to be responsible to our country and people

欧：他说：第一不可忘国忧，第二不可负卿卿

陈：We shall inherit the spirit of him, and his confident to our culture.

合：让我们共同传递文化自信，传承伟人精神。
