聚焦《枫叶ESL课程标准》，激发英语教学智慧

——记大英语工程新学期教研培训

听闻武汉枫叶教育园区大英语团队开展了为期4天、场场爆满的新学期教研培训，下面请看小编从现场发回来的报道。

人物：来自武汉和荆州校区10个国家的80余名中外英语教师

Event: A Four-day Professional Development with 1 workshop, 12 topics and 15 sessions

事件：1场研讨会、12个课题、15轮主题分享

In the Professional Development closely focused on “Maple Leaf ESL Curriculum Standard”, a great many creative ideas and practical resources were shared, thus providing all teachers with a source of inspiration for English teaching.

在研讨会上，全体教师回顾了《枫叶ESL课程标准》，明确了ESL课程设置，重温了“阅读力”，并将“提问力”与ESL教学相融合进行了探讨；“Ice Cats Can Melt”的活动环节，不仅给老师提供了破冰素材，也让老师们更加亲密无间。

The combination of teaching and research is an indispensable way to improve teaching quality so as to enable students to achieve the four learning goals of “Maple Leaf ESL Curriculum Standard” and to be international elites.

教而不研则浅，研而不教则空。只有通过教学和研讨相结合，才能多方位提高英语课堂质量，从而更好地帮助每位枫叶学子在学习英语语言之外，通过语言能力、学习策略、学术能力和文化意识的习得，掌握正确使用英语和用英语思考的能力，成为国际化精英人才。
