“Maple Leaf Cup” Star of Outlook English Talent Competition Wuhan Final Round has come to a successful conclusion. Maple leafers’ hard work has been rewarded with piles of certificates of honor. Satisfactory smiles are being seen on their faces. But it is just a midfielder nap for courageous qualified competitors. They eagerly take part in the pre-competition training, hoping to meet new challenges.

“枫叶杯”希望之星英语风采大赛武汉市决赛已落下帷幕，枫叶学子们的辛勤准备换来了沉甸甸的荣誉证书，他们的脸上洋溢着满意的笑容。而这对于勇于追求的枫叶学子们来说只是中场小憩。稍事休整过后，获得晋级资格的选手们踊跃报名参加赛前培训“充电、加油”，期待走上更大的舞台，迎接新的挑战。

Provincial competition has semifinal and final, and it differs a lot in competition segment from the Wuhan Final. In semifinal, English speech and picture description (elementary school group) , impromptu speech(middle school and high school group) are to be conducted. In final, group debate and impromptu Q&A are to be conducted. Teachers try every means to search materials extensively and prepare the training courses elaborately.

省赛分半决赛和决赛，环节设计上也与市赛有很大差别。半决赛设置了英文个性演讲、即兴说故事（小低、小高组）/即兴演讲（初高组）两个环节；决赛全组别进行1对1小组辩论和即兴问答。省赛对评分标准的划分和执行也更细致更严格。老师们结合参赛规则、评分标准、准备策略针对各个环节广泛搜集素材，精心准备，为选手们呈现出详尽而系统的培训课程。

After systemic training courses it comes to the simulated practice. “This word is not proper.”, “Here you can use some gesture.”, “This word is not pronounced correctly.”… Teachers provide instructions on the topic, wording, gestures, pronunciation and intonation, logic, etc. Competitors listen and take notes carefully. They also practice in pairs and exchange ideas. What positive and modest learning attitude they have!

理论用于实际。系统培训过后，选手们即进入实战演练阶段。“这个用词不够恰当”，“这里可以结合手势”，“不行，这个单词发音不准确”……老师正在对选手们的个性演讲从选题、用词、肢体语言、语音语调、逻辑等方面进行全方位指导和把控。选手们仔细聆听，快速记下并积极改正。选手们也互相审稿、交换意见，共同进步，将枫叶学子谦逊的学习态度表现得淋漓尽致。

The process of preparing for the competition is hard. However, the progress gained during the process will drive the competitors closer to the nationwide final and also to their dream. In order to have more competitors participate the final, Star of Outlook Organizing Committee organize the elite summer training camp. Professional foreign teachers, amiable judges and students who are good at English are invited here. If you can stand out from the crowd, then you may win the opportunity to participate the final. What is more, winners can be promoted directly to 2019 Star of Outlook English Talent Competition Final.
