Our Spring Festival Craftwork show in MLFNS-W

中文课春节作品展

   Today was the 9^th of December in the lunar calendar, as an old Chinese saying goes: “the spring festival comes after the lunar 8^th of December”. Do you feel excited about the coming holiday?

   今天是农历腊月初九，俗话说，过了腊八就是年。春节的脚步日益邻近，大家有没有为即将到来的假期感到兴奋呢？

In MLFNS-W, in order to help students know more about Chinese culture, the school held the Spring Festival Craftwork Show for the whole week. Let us see the students’ posters for the event.

在武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校，为了让外籍学生更多地了解中国传统文化，让学习延伸到课外，学校举行了为期一周的春节文化作品义卖。这是学生自制的宣传海报噢！

Craftworks included the following items: fan with pictures, paper carvings and window decorations, bracelets and knots, spring couplets and Peking masks. It is worth mentioning here that all the craftwork was made by students themselves with the guidance of our Mandarin teachers. All of them enjoyed the activities.

此次展示的作品包括扇画，刻纸和窗花，手链及中国结，春联及京剧脸谱。值得一提的是，这些作品全部由外籍学生在中文老师的指导下自己制作完成,在此过程中，他们学到了知识，同时也获得了欢乐。

Next，let us enjoy the pictures. All students took turns to sell the crafts.

接下来，让我们一起来看看义卖的现场吧，所有的学生都会按照计划每天在现场监督并且售卖哦。

   In MLFNS-W, on a daily basis, students learn Mandarin and about eastern cultures, in addition to the BC curriculum. We hope in the future, the Chinese knowledge they learnt from school can facilitate them to have a bright future.

在武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校，学生不仅能学习BC课程，中文及东方文化教学也是每天必不可少的学习内容。我们希望在校所学中文知识能助力学子日后发展和成长。
