Trick-or-treating! -The Halloween Activities in the FNS-Wuhan

不给糖我们就捣乱啦! -武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校万圣节活动

   As one of the most popular festivals in the world, students always get excited about the events on that day. Firstly, let’s check the Halloween plan at the FNS.

   万圣节作为风靡全世界的节日之一，总会备受学生们关注与热爱。那么首先，让我们来看看武汉外籍人员子女学校的万圣节安排吧。

   At the beginning of the day, kids wore their special costumes to school. Cleopatra, vampires, pumpkins, the king of terror, and so many more! Students’ imagination and creativity are always surprising.

   节日当天一大早，每个学生都根据自己的喜好穿上了万圣节服饰。有埃及艳后，吸血鬼，南瓜造型，死神，同学们的造型各有特色。

   All FNS staff chose to wear Harry Potter costumes. See, Mr Laing looked so different today. His costume is professor Dumbledore in Harry Potter！

    外校所有的老师们都穿上了哈利波特里面的学士服，看！校长Mr Laing 看起来很特别哟。他的装扮是哈利波特里的邓布利多校长呀！

   In the morning, students started to do the pumpkin carving. Let’s see their pumpkins!

   上午的活动安排是雕刻南瓜哟，我们来看一下同学们的奇思妙想吧！

   At lunch time, the cook prepared delicious dishes for students:

   中午午餐时间，今天的午餐也是相当美味：烤翅中，牛肉洋葱，土豆胡萝卜，奶酪意大利面。

   Additionally, the FNS invited parents to join the bake sale. Parents were so supportive that they prepared various kinds of dessert. All the fundraising money will be used to purchase new PE equipment in the FNS.

   咦，同学们除了享受美味的午餐同时，还有各类甜点哟，有蛋挞，饼干，布朗尼，各种各样万圣节种类的棒棒糖，还有鸡蛋饼和豆腐脑呀！到底是谁这么有才呢？答案揭晓啦！就是我们FNS的家长们哟！感谢家长们积极参与此次万圣节活动的义卖，所有筹款所得的资金，我们将会用来添置FNS的体育用品器材。

After lunch, the students played a candy relay race game. They also had a chance to open “Pandora’s Box”, with one box containing candy, and the other three with gross, yucky things inside!

午饭后，学生们还玩了糖果接力赛。还玩了另一个有趣又“恶心的”游戏“潘多拉的盒子”！四个盒子里只有一个是好吃的糖果，另外三个却是各种各样的食物混在一起令人觉得恶心的食材！

After playing the games, students start “trick or treating” around the campus！ Every staff in the FNS prepared candies for the students.

在进行了几个有趣的游戏环节之后，“不给糖就捣蛋”开始了！外校的每个老师都贴心的为孩子们准备了糖果。

In order to make stronger connections with the community, our students went to the nearby kindergarten and had some activities with their kids.

为了让更多的孩子感受节日的欢乐气氛，外校学生走进了我们的邻居-武汉英华国际幼儿园，并且和幼儿园的小朋友们来了一场联谊活动哟。

Lastly, it came to the costume contest. Who is the winner today? After school-wide voting, Frank from the K-1 class won！Congratulations!

最紧张的环节到来啦，到底谁是今天的最佳着装呢？经过层层筛选，最后大家共同选出今天的最佳穿着是小兔子，恭喜他啦！
