   Mr. Ye Shengtao, a renowned educator once said, “It is necessary to continually cultivate the learning ability and innovate the learning methods so as to improve learning efficiency for a future success.”

   著名教育家叶圣陶先生曾说过；“培育能力的事必须继续不断地去做，又必须随时改善学习方法，提高学习效率，才会成功。”

   Every Wednesday and Saturday, “Maple Leaf English” – Phrase of the Day teaches students 24 common English phrases in authentic dialogues, enabling students to learn the rhetorical devices and practical usage of phrases. Additionally, learning phrases’ meaning, implication, and origins is also a good way to understand the difference between Chinese and western culture.

   《枫叶英语课堂》教学系列视频第二季“习语系列”于每周三和周六播出，教授给大家24个常见的英语习语。抛开生硬的书本内容，学生既能根据对话语境更直观地理解习语，学习习语中比喻、夸张等修辞手法，激发兴趣，培养语感，又能将之运用在写作和口语中，妙语连珠，传神生动。而且，通过学习习语的含义、引申义、来源等有助于学生更好地了解中西文化差异，从而促进对英语这门语言的学习和应用。
