My Life in Jingzhou Maple Leaf

我在荆州枫叶的生活 

   Hello! My name is Jessica Womack. I am from the United States of America.  I arrived in Jingzhou, China during the spring of 2016.

   大家好，我叫Jessica Womack，来自美国。我于2016年春天来到中国荆州这座城市。

   I teach grades 5, 6, 7, 8, & 9. My students are lovely and talented. We have a lot of fun together. Sometimes my students even visit me after class during their lunch break to make crafts and discuss various topics.

   我现在教5-9年级的ESL课程，我的学生们既可爱又聪明，我们在一起非常开心。有的时候他们会在中午或下午的课余时间来办公室找我，和我一起做手工，聊一些他们感兴趣的话题。

   I live in the beautiful city. It is full of history and beautiful architecture. My students love showing me various areas of the city and telling me about its important points.

   荆州是一座美丽的城市，有着丰富的历史底蕴和精美的建筑。休息的时候我的学生喜欢带我行走于这座城市的不同角落，给我讲述它们的故事。

   My co-workers keep me happy when the day gets hard. They are a great group of girls and I love their sense of humor and openness. We even go out together after work for fun outings.

   我的同事们对我也很好，在我遇到困难的时候她们总会帮助我、让我开心。她们是一群幽默、开朗、大方的女生，工作以外的时间我们也会一起出去聚会。

   So far, my life in Jingzhou Maple Leaf has been great! Before I end, I’d like to share with you all my life motto, “Even in darkness there is sunlight.”

   我在荆州枫叶的生活真是太精彩了！最后，我想和大家分享一下我的人生格言：“即使在黑暗中也有阳光！”
