九年级生动的外英展示课


   4.9日上午的第一节课,是初中外教Arpit的展示课。上课铃声响完,老师在点名确定好学生人数之后,开始告诉学生们上课的内容和这堂课对同学们的要求,即认真仔细的观察和做好笔记。随后同学们就跟随老师一起走到了是室外升旗广场,等待他们的是还有很多9年级其他的班级和他们的外教老师们,也就是Monica,Scott,Dines一起上这堂课。场面相当的壮观。那么这节课我们要进行一些什么样的实验呢。


   一开始,只见老师们手上拿着很多实验器材,在第一个场地,三位外教老师一起,将牛奶,可乐和咖啡倒在同一个塑料瓶子里,用力的摇晃。想想过了一会儿会有什么现象呢。接着老师同学们去了升旗广场的另一角,在这里进行了另外的实验。首先Arpit将纯碱倒在一个可封口的袋子里,然后让学生配合把白醋加入袋中,立刻封口。我们可以看到塑料袋瞬间膨胀。另一个实验是,Monica将两个乒乓球用铝制纸严密包起来,接着点燃铝纸,奇迹发生了,一团白烟突然升起,转眼之间铝纸里的乒乓球就没有了。紧接着,同学们去了第三个地点,就是升旗台了,在这里,老师们准备好了4种饮料,分别是气息,可乐,百事和芬达,打开瓶盖,老师给了愿意尝试的同学每人5片纯碱片,让同学们于同一时间将纯碱片迅速放入瓶中。奇迹再一次发生,4个装有饮料的瓶子瞬间变成喷泉,大量的气泡和液体往外面涌。Arpit问同学们哪种饮料和纯碱的反应是最激烈的。同学们在仔细的观察下得出了答案。


   这节课是一节实验观察课,Arpit给同学们的handout上面,让同学们记下实验的材料,所观察到的现象。我想真正的实验原理,老师会同学们亲自在观察之后在细细道来。无疑,生动的科学课总能让同学们最直观的懂得科学的奇妙,这就是枫叶的课堂。不在乎于形式和场地,只关注于学生的参与,习得和体会。

 

Vivid Demo Class of Grade 9

  Arpit’s demo class is on the 1st block of 9th, April in middle school. He told his students the contents of this class and what they were supposed to do in this class after checking the attendance. That’s observing carefully and taking notes. And then Arpit and his students went outside to the flag-raising square. There were many other students and other ESL teachers, Monica, Scott, and Dines, waiting there in the square. So what was going to happen in the experiment?

  At the beginning, there were many experiment materials. In the first station, the teachers mixed milk, cola and coffee together in a plastic bottle. Shake it heavily. see what will happen.Next, students and teachers went to another spot,Arpit poured some sodium carbonate into a zip bag and he asked a student to pour some vinegar into the bag, zip it ASAP.We could see the bag just expand the moment the vinegar mixed with the sodium carbonate. Another experiment is that Monica used aALpaper to wrap two ping-pong balls and then lit the paper. Magic comes. After a sudden burst of smoke, the two balls disappeared. And then all the teachers and students went to the third station, that’s the flag-raising towel. Teachers prepared four different kinds of drinks. They are hedy, cola.pepsi and feta. Teachers gave each of the four volunteers five piece of sodium carbonate tablets and asked them to put the tablets to the drinks at the same time after taking off the lid. Another magic! The four drinks bottles turned into tiny springs and lots of bubbles and liquid surged out in a short time.Arpit asked students which one had the strongest effect. and students gave him the answer.

  This is an experiment and observing class. On the handout that Arpit gave them at the beginning of the class are students notes and what they saw. I guess the experiment principal will be illustrated to the students in class later.Undoubtedly, this is what a experiment should be, Students can know the magic of science through this class. This is the class of Maple Leaf. We don’t care about form and place. what we focus are students participation, gains and experience.
