   没有来过枫叶的课堂，你不会知道课堂原来可以这样活跃；没有体验过活跃的课堂，你不会认同快乐学习也能收获到知识；没有经历过快乐学习，你不会明白学校生活原来可以这么多姿多彩。而枫叶在八月为新入学的准高一学生们准备的暑期先导课程，正在如火如荼的进行中。很多送孩子来上学的枫叶家长们，都不禁感叹自己当年可能念了一个假高中。

   You will not know that an English class can be so active until you come to the class of Wuhan Maple Leaf International School. You will not agree with that one can acquire knowledge through happy learning until you experience an active class in Wuhan Maple Leaf International School. You will not understand that a high school student can enjoy a colorful school life until you study happily in Wuhan Maple Leaf International School by yourself. The Summer Orientation Program for the newest high school students in August is going on smoothly and vividly at present. A lot of parents can’t help claiming that they must have had a boring high school life after they sent their children to Wuhan Maple Leaf International School.

   在LA的课堂上，老师不仅教学生学习英语，还教孩子们英语这门语言的艺术，包括听说读写、英美文化等，帮助孩子们从各个方面去强化英语能力，从而更加顺利地适应BC课堂外教全英文授课的教学模式。

   In LA classes, the teachers will not only teach students English, but also teach them the art of English in the aspects of speaking, listening, reading, writing, and Anglo-American culture to help students enhance the abilities in all dimensions,thus making sure that they can quickly adapt to the full-English classes taught by foreign teachers in the BC Program.

   在科学课上，老师不会单纯地告诉你太阳系最大的天体是什么，而是在不断的引导与探索下，由学生自己来得出答案。老师也不会机械地做课堂问答，你看，他们是在抢凳子的游戏中，一问一答地完成了课堂提问环节。

   In Science classes, the teachers will not tell you which is the largest celestial body in the solar system directly but guide the students to find the answers by themselves under the continuous guidance and exploration. Meanwhile, they will never do questions and answers without any changes. Looking at the picture below, you will find that those students are finishing the questions and answers through a game called musical chair. 

   枫叶的数学课堂一点都不枯燥。

   There are full of interests in Math classes of Wuhan Maple Leaf International School.

   乍一看，还以为是在上舞蹈课，但其实这只是老师安排在教学活动中的一个小游戏。而在这个课堂上，学生又排着长龙比拼用英语表达整数、分数、百分数。

   At first glance, I thought it was a dance class, however, it turns out to be a teaching activity in a math class. While，in the picture below, the students are waiting for the competition of expressing integer, fraction, percentage in English.

   在学习技巧的课堂上，老师问的最多的就是为什么。因为你只有明白了为什么要用这个方法，才会在今后的英语学习上，灵活地使用这些方法。

   In the classes of Study Skills, the teachers prefer to ask why, as one can only use those study skills flexibly on the condition of fully understanding. 

   在交流技巧的课堂上，纯外教的环境，让孩子们在浸入式学习中，潜移默化地提高英语交流水平。

   In Communication Skills classes, foreign teachers create a full-English environment which helps students increase their communication abilities in an immersion environment.

   初来乍到，对于这样强度的全英语教学环境，准高一学生们一定还有许多不适应的地方。但是经过一段时间的调整，相信他们一定可以适应枫叶高中的生活，精进各方面的技能，成功走进自己心仪的海外知名高校。

   As new comers, those students must have a lot of aspects to overcome, especially the intensive full-English environment. However, after a short period, we believe that all the students will adjust to the life in Wuhan Maple Leaf International School, and sophisticate the skills in all aspects, thus to enter their dream well-known overseas universities in the future.
