熟悉又陌生的朋友

               ——枫叶

    为什么说枫叶是我熟悉又陌生的朋友呢？因为初中三年我与枫叶天天生活在一起，枫叶也见证了我的成长，它也算是我最熟悉的朋友了。但是跟初中部隔了一条小路的高中部却是我一直期待向往的地方，我向往那里的英语环境、教师资源以及那里的社团和各种比赛，我期望能在那里锻炼自己、展示自己。

    刚进初中的我是个害羞胆小的女孩，又由于学校不重视英语的原因我基本是个英语零基础的人，因此我感到自卑，我上课不举手不发言不参与，除了英语课。因为对英语的好奇和喜爱，我在英语课开启了“不要脸”模式，用着简单的句子和少的可怜的词汇量回答老师的问题，但是我发现没有一个人嘲笑我，所以我开始了更“放肆”的参与课堂，伴随的是我英语的突飞猛进。我积极参与学校活动学生会，提升英语的同时也提升了自身能力，我想这就是我在枫叶该学的，也是我以前没有的，也因为初中生活的有趣，让我对未来的高中生活的期待越来越高，一个重新来过的机会，一个重新刷新自我的机会，我不会再像初中第一学期那样荒芜，我一定会牢牢抓住抛来的机会！

    Summer School的第一个星期就让我兴致满满，因为对英语的喜爱，我认真听每一堂课，会的问题也积极举手，和Communication的Ted沟通说笑给他一个好的印象。可能是因为初中就在枫叶上的缘故，高中的课堂让我感到舒适，我也很喜欢用英语跟老师同学交流，也希望大家能一起考上4BC一起为自己心仪的学校做努力！我也很喜欢我们可爱的领事Rose，原本以为无聊枯燥的领事课居然也能如此有趣，希望Rose能一直陪伴我们毕业～当然还有我们的小领事，人超级nice教我们学英语的技巧，督促我们背单词，有时候也跟我们聊聊她的生活及枫叶。让我更期待的是接下来各种活动，一想到那些我就更有动力学习！我爱学习学习爱我！

    在这个全新的起点我一定要努力抓住所有机会，给自己的高中生活留下最美好的回忆！

   Why I said that Maple Leaf is my friend which is strenge and familiar?Because I lived in Maple Lefe middle school for three years,It witnessed my growth,it’s the most familiar friend for me.Yet high school is my yearning place where is near the middle school,I’m yearning the English environment、the resources of teachers and the different kinds of clubs and competitions there,I’m looking forward to improve myself and show myself there!

   I’m a really shy and timid girl when I enter the Maple Leaf middle school,due to my prime school paid nothing attention on English,so I didn’t  know English basically,therefore I felt self-abasement,I didn’t join the classes at all except English.Because of the curiosity for English,I turned on my no face pattern,answered teacher’s questions by using simple sentences,yet no one laughed at me! I joined the classes with more unbridled and my English was advanced rapidly. I participate in school’s activities and school union actively,

at the same time, I improved my English and my ability.These are what I should learn and what I hadn’t,so I have more and more exceptions for my high school life now.Going to the high school is a chance to refresh myself, I will hold the chance tightly!

   The first week of SS interested me, I focused on every classes,and answered the questions actively,communicated with Ted and gave him a good impression,the classes in high school let me felt comfortable,I like communicate with everyone by using English,I wish we can get 4BC and make progress for our willing universities together ! I love our cute counselor too,I thought counselor’s class was really boring before,but it was not!Our small counselor is very nice and friendly,she even teach us the skills of speaking English. I’ll have the energy when I think about the activities of high school.

   I’ll hold the chance tightly and leave a beautiful memorize of high school life!
