武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校“阅读马拉松”活动

Back by popular demand – the FNS presented its second “Readathon” to encourage students to read and to complete some reading-related activities. This activity was organized by the FNS Librarian Ms Bates. Before the event, students were asked to collect sponsors - their parents, friends or neighbours - to donate money to support their reading. Based on the number of sponsors and total amount of money students collected, the students were eligible for incentives such as wearing their own shoes to school or listening to music while reading.

   由于去年的活动受到学生和家长的广泛好评，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校举办了第二届“阅读马拉松”活动。此次活动由英语强化外籍教师Ms Bates组织。在活动之前，学生可以向自己的家人，朋友或者邻居寻求资助。根据学生资助人的个数及资金总数，学生会得到相应奖励，例如在活动当天穿便服上学，或者可以边听音乐边看书等。

   On September 27, different classes went to different locations for reading, some of them read quietly in the computer room, some read books in the library and some read together with friends, and some of the younger students read with the guidance of Ms. Bates.

在活动当天，每个班级根据老师安排采取不同的阅读形式。大年级学生在微机室安静阅读，有的学生在图书馆阅读，有的学生选择和自己的好朋友一起享受阅读的乐趣。低年级小朋友则在Ms Bates的引导下探索浩瀚的书籍海洋。
