   It is March already, spring is coming. The FNS students came back to school after the winter vacation, which was full of happiness and joy. But the vacation did not only mean rest and freedom, it also meant a lot of homework from various teachers.

   When you saw those pictures, what did you think? This is the homework of one of the Korean students in the FNS? Surprised? How can these foreign students write Chinese characters and also pinyin? In the FNS, In the FNS, except for BC courses ----- the ESL is more of a support feature, students are also required to take one-block of Mandarin every day as a second language. Based on the students’ Chinese level, they are divided into two classes: an advanced level class and a beginners’ level class. Students can learn to write and speak Chinese in class. And also, they can know about Chinese culture. For advanced class, their homework is to write an essay after reading a book.

   这是一名韩国学生的寒假作业，当你看到上面的作业图片时，你有没有感到吃惊呢？外国人怎么会写拼音和中国汉字呢？武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校除了提供加方课程学习之外，学校还提供中文课作为学生的第二外语。根据学生现有的中文水平，学生会分配到不同的中文班级：对外汉语班级或者语文课班级。在中文课堂上，外籍学生可以学习说中文，写汉字，同样也会学习中华文化。对于有中文基础的学生来说，他们的作业则是写读后感。
