为庆祝中秋佳节，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校举办了中秋嘉年华活动。做月饼、猜灯谜、观月相、赏灯笼，内容丰富，趣味十足。

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan hosted the Mid-Autumn Carnival. Making moon cakes, guessing riddles, watching the moon, and enjoying lanterns, those activities made the day full of fun.

在做月饼环节中，学生早早来到食堂，准备大显身手。从揉面到包馅，最后压模，充分展现了他们的创造力和动手能力，学生家长在下午也参与了做月饼活动，到底谁做的月饼会更胜一筹呢？

In the process of making moon cakes, students gathered in the cafeteria to show their skills. From kneading dough to packing stuffing to finally forming the mooncakes, the activity demonstrates their creativity and practical ability. Parents also participated in the moon cake activities in the afternoon. Who is better at making moon cakes?

接着是学生的月相作品和灯笼作品展览，有的用奥利奥饼干显示月相的变化，有的把数学公式画在灯笼上，创意无限。

Then, there was the exhibition of students' moon phase and lantern works. Some showed the changes of the moon phase with Oreos; others drew mathematical formulas on lanterns, they were highly creative.

除此以外，还有猜灯谜环节，大家发挥聪明才智，进行头脑风暴。冷和热谁跑得快？什么东西只上不下？你知道答案吗？

In the riddle section, everyone was brainstorming. Do you know “Which can move faster, heat or cold?” “What always goes up and never goes down?”

学生在此次丰富多彩的文化活动中感受到了中国传统节日文化的魅力与乐趣。此次嘉年华活动也培养了学生的动手能力，思考能力以及交际能力。
