The 100^th Day of School Celebration

庆祝第100个学习日

   March 6, 2019 may have been a normal day for you, but for the students in Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan, this day had a special meaning—the 100^th School Day. On the 100^th day of school, students had a chance to have fun with the number 100.

   2019年3月6日可能是一个再普通不过的日子，但是对武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校的学生来说却具有特殊的意义，因为—第100个学习日。100个学习日在全球范围内被广泛庆祝，这也是学习数学和做100有关的丰富活动的好机会。

   The dress code for the 100^th day of school was “Dress Up as a 100-Year-Old” or Design a Craft Costume / Hat / etc. that has “100” items.

   由于庆祝活动，学生们当天可以不用着校服到校。他们可以穿得像100岁的老人或者着有100中元素的服装到校。

Our Principal Mr. Laing set up four estimation jars of items in front of the main office. One of the jars had exactly 100 items, and students who guessed correctly received prizes.

   校长莱恩先生在教师办公室前的桌子上放置了四个小罐，其中有一罐里面正好有100个物品，猜对的同学可以获得奖励。

   Next was the school-wide activity. Students were asked to use the “100” items provided to build “something”. Awards were given for the Tallest Structures, the Most Creative Structures, and the Strongest Structures.

   接下来同学们三人一组，利用手中的100钟物品建立模型。20分钟后评选出最高及最具创意的模型。

   Throughout the day, students in their classes also enjoyed other 100s-based activities. Please enjoy the photos of the 100^th day of school.
