爱，不分国界—记武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校与武汉爱特特殊儿童培训中心捐赠活动

There is No Nationality Barrier for Love --Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan visit to Wuhan Aite Special Children's Education and Training Center

    To build our international students’ sense of social responsibility, Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan organized a “Charity Week” in November. During the week, parents and students donated money, and also toys, clothes and food. On December 11, together with Principal Mr. Laing, 9 students from different countries (Canada, United States, Pakistan, and Korea), 1 Canadian parent, and two teacher representatives went to the Wuhan Aite Special Children’s Education and Training Center.  

为增强国际学生社会责任感，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校在11月举办了慈善周活动。在活动过程中，家长及学生捐资捐物奉献爱心。12月11日，带着全校学生及家长的爱心捐赠，在校长Mr Laing的带领下，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女来自于不同国家（加拿大，美国，巴基斯坦，韩国等）的9学生代表，1名来自加拿大的家长代表及教师代表走进了武汉爱特特殊儿童培训中心。

    Wuhan Aite Special Children's Education and Training Center was founded in 2005 and it is an NGO for early intervention, rehabilitation training and special education for children with cerebral palsy, developmental challenges and autism. It is one of the designated institutions for rehabilitation of disabled children in Wuhan.

武汉市爱特特殊儿童教育培训中心创办于2005年，是一所针对脑瘫、智力障碍、自闭症等特殊需要儿童进行早期干预、康复训练、特殊教育的NGO组织，是国家、省、市残疾儿童康复项目定点机构之一。

    Bringing the donations from all of the parents and students, we arrived at the Aite Center. The children’s tutor gave us a simple introduction of all of the kids there. Then we all had a music lesson together. Hand in hand, everybody moved along with the music, and big smiles were on everyone’s’ faces.

走进爱特，走进这群特殊儿童中间。机构老师对孩子们的基本情况做了简单介绍。接下来学生家长及教师代表们共同参与了孩子们的一节音乐课。大家手拉手跟着音乐一起舞动。

   The donation ceremony followed the music lesson. Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan bought necessary art supplies for the kids, and also brought the toys and food that parents donated. The rest of the donating money went to funding the Aite center. 

在一节丰富的音乐课之后，是简单的捐赠仪式。学校给孩子们购置了所需的美术用品，并带来了家长们捐赠的玩具及食物。剩余的款项则通过微信平台捐赠给了爱特基金会。

    Every participant from the school was deeply moved by this event. In this chilling winter, let love spread.

此次活动，参与的师生及家长都深有感触。爱不分国界，在这个寒冷的冬天，让爱延续。
