武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校开学第一周

   After the two-month summer vacation, students are excited to come back to school and start a new journey. In order to help new students feel less anxious in their new environment, we held an Open House before the term began.

   充满无限乐趣与回忆的假期已经结束，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校的学生们也在金秋九月重返校园，开启了新的旅程。本学期由于新生人数较多，为了帮助新生更快的适应环境，学校在新学期正式开始前组织开放日活动，是不是很贴心呢？

   Beginning this term, our school has organized a school bus route directly from Maple Leaf Educational Park-Wuhan to Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals’ School-Wuhan. On the first school day, the school bus successfully started its journey.

   本学期开始，往返于武汉枫叶教育园区与武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校之间的专线校车正式开通；开学第一天，同学们乘着校车顺利启程啦。

   Let us take a look at students in class on the very first day of the school year.

   正式开启了新学期的学习，小编带着大家走进每个班级去看看学生们的状态吧。 

   It is worth mentioning that we have an additional, full-time Chinese teacher assistant for the K-1 class to help students with their learning. The teacher assistant will cooperate with the BC teacher. We also have an additional ESL teacher to help students with English learning.

   值得一提的是，新学年为了更好帮助小朋友学习及生活，K-1年级还新增一名中方助教，协助加方外教指导学生。与此同时，我们新增一名ESL外教帮助英文基础较为薄弱的学生提高语言水平。

   On the third day of the new semester, we had our “Meet-the-Teacher” event. At the beginning of the event, our principal, Mr. Laing talked about the BC curriculum and also encouraged parents to communicate with teachers via Class Dojo. After the presentation, parents met and talked with all teachers about the year of learning ahead.

   在开学第三天，学校组织“Meet-the-Teacher” 活动，在活动开始，加方校长Mr. Laing先生给家长们讲解了BC新课标及鼓励家长们通过Class Dojo平台与家长积极沟通。演讲过后，家长们走进教室，就学生的学习情况与加方老师展开积极讨论。

   新学年的序幕已经拉开，期待外籍子女学校每名学生都能有更加丰收的一年。
