——记武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校首次汉语水平考试 

HSK（汉语水平考试）和YCT（中小学生汉语考试）都是国际汉语能力标准化考试。HSK重点考查汉语非第一语言的学生在生活、学习和工作中运用汉语进行交际的能力。HSK包括一级、二级、三级、四级、五级和六级。YCT重点考查汉语非第一语言的中小学生在日常生活和学习中运用汉语的能力。YCT包括一级、二级、三级和四级。

The HSK (Chinese proficiency test) and the YCT (Chinese language test for primary and secondary school students) are both standardized international Chinese proficiency tests. The HSK focuses on examining the ability of Chinese non-first language students to communicate with each other in life, study and work. The HSK includes level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4, level 5 and level 6. The YCT focuses on examining the ability of Chinese non-first language primary and secondary school students to use Chinese in daily life and learning. The YCT includes level 1, level 2, Level 3 and level 4.

5月11日上午，武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校终于迎来了第一次HSK/YCT。全校100名学生中，除五月入学的新生外，共有90名学生报名参加了此次考试，年龄最小的考生仅5岁，最大的15岁。

On the morning of May 11, Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School - Wuhan finally ushered in the first HSK/YCT. Of the 100 students in the school, in addition to the freshmen enrolled in May, a total of 90 students signed up for the examination, the youngest of whom was only 5 years old and the oldest ,15 years old.

本次考试我校共设7个考场。HSK一级、二级、三级、四级和六级各设一个考场，YCT一级共设两个考场。为保证首次考试顺利进行，枫叶教育集团国际学生服务中心派李卓老师到我校送考，进行考前培训、考场布置及巡考工作。

This time there were 7 test classrooms in our school. 5 classrooms for HSK level 1, level 2, level 3, level 4 and level 6 and 2 classrooms for YCT 1. In order to ensure the smooth conduct of the first examination, Ms. Li Zhuo from the International Student Service Center of Maple Leaf Education Group visited our school to conduct pre-examination training, examination room layout and a school tour.

考试前一天，老师们用不同颜色的标识布置好了考场和候考点。今天考试前，学生们根据不同颜色的考场标识在餐厅相应区域内候考。考试前十分钟，各考场主考老师带领学生进入考场。考试9点开始，各考场考生认真答题，考试有序进行。截至11点20分，所有考试圆满结束。

The day before the exam, the teachers set up the test classrooms and waiting room. 10 minutes before the exam, the students were led into the examination room. The examination started at 9 o'clock, and as of 11:20AM, all examinations were successfully concluded.

对于首次HSK/YCT考试，学生们有紧张，有兴奋，有担心，更有完成的喜悦。本次考试是对学生汉语学习情况一次很好的检验，极大地提高了学生学习汉语的信心和热情。以后每年我校都会定期组织一次HSK/YCT考试，践行“考教结合”的理念。

For the first HSK/YCT exam, students felt nervous, excited, worried, and delighted of their accomplishments. This examination was a good chance to test the students’ Chinese learning situation, and greatly improves the students’ confidence and enthusiasm with learning Chinese. Every year in the future, our school will regularly organize the HSK/YCT exam.
