两次转变
                        1203  陈登南爸爸

   入读枫叶之前,儿子有过一次转变。曾几何时,儿子是邻里亲朋眼中学思敏捷、身心俱佳的孩子。那时的我们非常自信和骄傲,生活也因之美如乐曲,从未怀疑过孩子的未来和前途。初中的某天认真地观察孩子的学习,感觉虽然坐在书桌旁的时间不少,但并没有进入一种学习的状态和境界。当时以为是偶尔的懈怠,不想之后这种游离感觉越来越强烈,学习也一落千丈。所谓“病急乱投医”,夫妻二人为了帮孩子渡过难关,凡是所听、所见、所想和所悟的方法一齐用上,结果如将士上阵,信心和诚意十足,但兵器却件件不趁手,失落、无奈、焦虑和迷惘的氛围笼罩全家。冥思苦想、痛定思痛之后,我们决定更换学习环境,转变教育理念和优化读书方法,就是抱着这种另辟蹊径,寻求柳暗花明的愿景,枫叶学校走进了我们的生活。

   在这个异国教育氛围中,儿子的学习激情再次被激发,如久旱逢春般,读书的渴望充溢着他的每一天,收获的愉悦感也渐次地与父母分享。第二次转变来得如此迅猛,细细思量之下,绝不是偶然。枫叶学校有国际化的办学理念,有优质的师资团队,有畅通的国内外升学途径和中西融合的课程体系,孩子们在这里既能被挖掘出各种特质和内在潜能,同时又给予他们无比的信心、十足的畅想力和国际化的视野,学哥学姐的异国求学之路也以事实为前途做了最好的示范。儿子终于抛掉了以分考人、以分评人、以分裁人的焦灼和不安感,如鱼得水般徜徉在跨语言、跨地域和跨文化的教育氛围里,我们也摈弃了之前“怒其不争”的焦躁和怨念,变成了与孩子携手并肩的同路人,某种意义上,枫叶的教育理念和实践也催生新型亲子关系,重聚家庭的凝聚力,重塑家长的社会人格。

   当然,讲以上这些,我无意痛陈传统教育的弊端,我想说的只是教育制度没有好和坏,只有适合与不适合。我的孩子适时地走进了枫叶,接触了国际化教育,经过三年的实证,心悦诚服地接受了它。这就是教与学最大的契合度,这就是教育的“日暮诗成天又雪,与梅并作十分春”适合境界!

   又是骊歌唱响时,又是学子再次起航时。我的孩子是这群人的一员,我欣喜同时,更多的是感恩,感恩枫叶,感恩教师,感恩教育。希望枫叶学校越办越好,一如它的名字,给越来越多的学子和家庭静美的收获。

                          CONVERT

   Before my son started to study in MAPLE LEAF, there was a change happened on him. He use to be a good student, a smart kid. At that time I and my wife were proud of him and had never worried about his future.

One day we found that even he sit on the chair for the lonftime but he is not on the zone for most of time. Frist we thouht this is just a fortuitous slack, but soon this situation becomes more and more frequently and his mark drop dramatically. I and my wife was very worried about this situation. We tried all ways we knew to help him but none of it really work. At the time we felt anxious, perplexed and lost, we decided to let him study in a hole new environment, change the way he use to study. And here comes our first option--Maple leaf.

   My son’s passion for study was aroused by the foreign education atomosphere in MAPLE LEAF. He studed hard and happy everyday in this school and started to share his joy during the study with us which he has never done before. He changed so swift and violent, this is not a casus fortuitus. MAPLE LEAF has international teaching method and proram, high quality of teachers and unobstructed ways for study abroad. Students can find and deveolope their potential there, it helps them become more confidence and full of creativity. We were so happy that he finally find his zone in this study environment that conbain traditional chinese and western way of teaching. We were no longer need to worry about him and our relationship becomes more like friends than “parents”. In another word, MAPLE LEAF let our family becomes more closer.

  Of course, I am not saying the traditional chinese way of teaching is bad, every teaching method have it’s advantage and disadvantage. What I want to say is through his three years study in mayple leaf I can tell he is perfectly fit in there.

   Now, it is the time for students to study abord, I am really happy that my kid is one of them. At same time I really appreciate what MAPL LEAF did for my son and for our famiy. I hope MYPLE LEAF can become better and better to help more families and students.
